The German Cinema New Talent Award is presented to emerging talent in the categories of directing, production, screenwriting, and acting. Sponsored by DZ BANK AG, Bavaria Film, and Bayerischer Rundfunk, the award amounts to a total of 70,000 euros. The 2026 jury consists of actress Haley Louise Jones, producer Trini Götze, and film director Visar Morina. The nominations will be announced in mid-June.
