Sustainable film production has until now focused on the environment, although FFF Bayern also offers gender incentives. Yet social sustainability is just as important. How is it reflected in funding, budgeting, and production? Family-friendly filmmaking is crucial to maintaining fair working conditions and quality and retaining specialized professionals. The filmmaking “family” must step up and create systems to support and protect its members.
